Why does the mind deteriorate?

The hidden part of the mind, which is not under control - Negative emotions

If the mind is here to help us live and make decisions relating to survival, why do we loose self-confidence? Why do we sometimes have irrational fears, why do we doubt our capabilities? Why do we often find ourselves having negative emotions, which are wrong for the situations we find ourselves in, and which sometimes spoil our life to the point of causing a separation or a divorce?

This is simply because of a hidden part of the mind, which is not under the control of the mind of the individual! During times of intense pain, when the individual is partly or totally unconscious, that the hidden part of the mind comes into action.

For example, a person losses consciousness following an accident or is under anesthetics, continues to record each moment of these experiences but now all of this information is stored in the hidden part of the mind.

The problem is that when the pain or unconsciousness has gone, this information isn”t easily accessible to the person.

Therefore the mind is made up of two parts, the analytical mind and the reactive (hidden) mind.

The analytical mind
